More Small Businesses Plan to Grow their Business through Internet and Social Media Marketing in 2010


According to a May 2010 study by eMarketer small businesses are optimistic about coming out of the recession and looking to boost marketing budgets, especially online. Businesses realize that a strategic Internet marketing plan is a powerful and cost-effective way to increase customer loyalty, brand credibility and new customers. Social media is getting the most increased attention since last year. More than 46% of small businesses plan to upgrade their web sites, email newsletter and overall online presence with more than 36% saying they plan to use social media to do it.
